Multiethnic and Intersectional worship is centered around Word and Sacrament, the means of grace. From our land acknowledgment, to our songs of various styles, languages, and traditions, from our prayers, scriptures, and lament, to our breaking of bread and wine, we name the injustices and truths while holding the resolve that we have in the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer.

What does it mean to be multiethnic?

From Genesis to Revelation, scripture reveals a God who gathers people from every nation, tribe, and language into one body. The biblical vision of “ethnos” is not about erasing difference, but embracing diverse peoplehood rooted in covenant, community, and shared life in Christ. To be multiethnic is to live into this vision, where diversity is not an add-on, but essential to the church’s identity. It is a call to worship, lead, and belong together across cultures, embodying God’s justice, unity, and love on earth.
